The USA Women’s National Soccer Team won the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup championship defeating the Netherlands 2-0! In honor of their big win, they flew back to the states from France for an incredible “ticker tape” parade and celebration in lower Manhattan.
Following a ceremony at City Hall, thousands of fans honored the team’s fourth World Cup title. The team was showered with confetti in the “Canyon of Heroes.” While confetti floated through the air, fans were chanting “USA.”
